Acceptance of Order (Our Contract)
When buying goods on the internet, you are entering into a legally binding contract. The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of payment for an order via our website or other means does not constitute acceptance of an order. Our acceptance of an order does not take place until despatch of the order, at which point a contract is formed. You will need to be over 18 (the legal age to contract legally) to use this site.
CosyCo endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date but gives no warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of the information. We have made all reasonable efforts to accurately display the sizes, colours, shapes and patterns of the goods for sale on our website. Representations of colour are approximate due to limitations of photographic equipment and different output devices. You acknowledge and accept that these may vary. Wood is a natural product and therefore may carry minor imperfections and characteristics such as grain, colour variations and knots. These characteristics are not classed as a manufacturing fault.
All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling (£) and you will be billed in this currency. The prices payable for goods that you order are set out on our website. Delivery charges are shown separately when ordering your goods. Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are inclusive of UK VAT but exclusive of any import or export duties. You may be eligible to claim VAT relief on products which have been designed specifically for the relief of chronic illness or disability. Please contact our team for advice and a VAT declaration form, which must be completed prior to any refund/reduction.
We hope you are happy with your purchase. If you are not, just return the product to us within 14 days of receipt in its original packaging and we will refund you the price of the goods only to the original credit or debit card used. Return costs are at your expense and we would recommend you obtain a free ‘proof of postage’ receipt from your Post Office. You must package the goods appropriately to ensure that they are returned in perfect condition as they are your responsibility until they reach us. We can collect goods at a cost of £20.00 per box/package (UK mainland only) if required. We will exchange any faulty goods at our own expense. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, if you buy online you have the right to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receipt.
Your Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel the order up to the point at which the goods are despatched by us. Should you cancel your order before despatch, we will refund the full amount to the original credit/debit card within 5 working days.
Our delivery options and charges are specified on our website. Shipping outside the UK may incur additional delivery charges. We will contact you with any additional costs prior to despatch. We cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. We will deliver to the address requested at the time you make the order and it is your responsibility to ensure the details are correct. Express orders and delivery of large/heavy items will require a signature. If your order is returned to us because the carrier or postal service could not complete the delivery to you, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Charges for any repeat delivery will be incurred.
We cannot be held responsible for any delays due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, quality control issues, industrial disputes, computer systems breakdown, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
CosyCo may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users should check periodically. Entering the website will constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions, including recent changes, whether or not you choose to review these changes.
